Policies
(Peak reservations include: RU and VT Graduation, Parents Weekend, VT Football Games and Holidays)
Check-In: Standard check-in is between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
Please inquire at booking if you require a late check-in. Early arrivals
may leave luggage and return after 4:00 pm if desired.
Check-Out: Standard check-out is between 8:30 am and 11:00 am.
Reservation Deposits: All reservations require a deposit of half
of the booking. Reservations are based upon one or two persons per room and four people for the Hokie Nest.
Cancellation: We certainly understand that changes in plans
do occur. As a small inn, we trust that you understand our need for ample notice of cancellation. A credit card is required to secure a reservation. If you must cancel, please do so promptly. If a cancellation is not received 7 days in advance you will be charged for the entire reservation and receive a gift certificate for those rooms/nights booked to be used at a later date. The gift certificate will be good for one re-booking for those specific rooms within a period of six months after the cancellation. Re-bookings are subject to availability. As a small property, we do not hold rooms. A whole-house booking requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking; any refund for a whole-house booking will be in the form of a gift certificate. Reservations not cancelled or cancelled after the scheduled check-in will be considered “No Shows.” There is no gift certificate/refund provided for early departures or “No Shows.”
*Holidays, special events, or rental of three rooms or more require a 14 day cancellation

Smoking: We are a non-smoking inn but do allow smoking outside.
Pets: With respect to those guests that have pet allergies, we do not allow pets in the house at any time.
